First time at Hong Pot KBBQ in McDonough, and we had a great experience! We’re so happy to finally have one here in Henry County! We did Hot Pot only. Skye provided amazing service. She was personable, knowledgeable, and very welcoming. It was so much fun. She made our first visit amazing! Ask for Skye!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 Stars for Hong Hot Pot & BBQ! So glad to finally have more diverse food options coming to the McDonough/Jodeco Road area! Hong Hot Pot & BBQ was absolutely delicious, and the service was just as great. A huge shoutout to Alexis — she was awesome! She made sure I knew how everything worked, checked on me throughout the meal, and made sure I was completely taken care of. Great food, great service, and such a fun experience. I will definitely be back! 🔥🥩🍜❤️

Experience today was meh and disappointing. There's definitely room to improve though. I was excited to finally have an ayce hotpot & kbbq (hotpot especially) place in Henry county. Therefore, when I heard they open, I went with my family to try. We went for hotpot only, so the kbbq folks might have better experience. Price: 33.99 per person for hoptpot OR kbbq, additional 5.99 to get both. The good: - The decor is beautiful. Each table is large. - My server (didn't catch the name but he wears glasses) was friendly, useful, and attentive. - The sauces bar has plenty of variety. The okay-ish: - The meats were okay, single portion is small though. -The veggie were clean. The disappointing: - Bland is the theme it's seem. Seafood were so bland, they seem to be overwashed so much they lost their flavor. - Broth is depends. I got the pork bone broth, which was bland. The rest of my family got other broths, and they were not much special. - The hot foods were not good. They have seafood boil, chciken wings, fry, eggrolls and the sweet red bean sesame ball, but they were out under the light for too long everything dried up. - The time it took for orders to be brought out though 😅. I’m so happy there’s finally a new hot pot spot in McDonough! As an avid foodie who’s always looking for great flavors and unique dining experiences, I can honestly say this place exceeded my expectations. The broths are incredibly flavorful, the ingredients are fresh, and every bite was absolutely delicious. What made the experience even better was the owner. She is so accommodating, welcoming, and genuinely cares that every guest has a great experience. She truly is the best, and her hospitality makes you want to come back again and again. And don’t miss the ramen restaurant right next door—they’re owned by the same amazing people! If the hot pot doesn’t convince you, the ramen definitely will. McDonough needed a place like this, and I can’t wait to go back!

Had the chance to try this new spot and I tried both the BBQ and hot pot experience, and I honestly enjoyed both! The food was fresh, the flavors were great, and being able to cook everything exactly how I wanted made the experience even better. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Thank you Skylar for your awesome service and help with the menu, as this was a completely new experience for me. Definitely a fun spot for date nights or going out with friends. Looking forward to coming back!
